Epic Goal

This epic is a placeholder for code refactoring, code cleanups, and other maintenance work in cluster-ingress-operator, keepalived, Origin E2E tests, and other components or code that the Network Ingress & DNS team maintains that doesn't already have an associated Jira issue.

This work has no impact on docs, QE, or PX. This epic strictly tracks internal code changes that is not customer facing and that otherwise has no Jira issues to track it.

Why is this important?

Our code needs refactoring to remove duplicated logic, as well as cleanups to improve readability and improvements to test coverage. These code changes will make it easier to find and fix defects and extend the code with new features.

Acceptance Criteria

All child issues under this epic are closed.

Dependencies (internal and external)

None. If any major dependencies are discovered in the course of the work under this epic, we will split that work into a separate epic and plan it appropriately.

NE-1182 and NE-1980 are examples of previous refactoring and code cleanups.
