Epic Goal
- Enable and support the installation of hosted clusters (i.e. compute nodes) on OCP Virtualization nodes across a mixture of architectures (such as, but not limited to, s390x and x86).
- State: Initial investigation was done. Requires general support for using OCP Virt as a platform for HCP, which we are working on in 4.20. Also requires mutli-arch images to be available for the setup.
Why is this important?
- Establish hypervisor possibilities for RHOCPV on IBM Z and LinuxONE in multi-arch environments.
