      Epic Goal

      • Allow customers to specify that CPU resources (i.e. pod requests/limits) can exceed the available CPU resources the kubelet derives from the system. Allow customers to use available IBM Z resources fully. Outcome of ongoing design (4.20 spike). Deliverable could be in multi-arch tuning operator (MTO), separate operator, kubernetes improvement (KEP).

      Why is this important?

      • Allow customers to use existing VCPU specification for workloads more correctly.
