The purpose of this Epic is to conduct initial research to further understand the areas that will be covered by the High Availability Feature. The RH and IBM P/Z engineering teams will collaborate to understand how DR & HA should be conducted on each platform and produce written deliverables on additional technical requirements.

This Epic includes:

• Preliminary engineering research on what is already included, and what is needed from the OCP and kubernetes point of view
• Preliminary engineering research on how DR & HA affect platforms such as P/Z
• Recommendations on components to implement

This Epic does not include:

• Research on business value proposition of DR & HA
• Market or customer analysis
• Implementation work or code changes
