Shared disk not attached automatically to VM when copyoffload is used

XMLWordPrintable

    • Important

      Description of problem:

When migrating VMs with shared disks using copyoffload, the VM that was migrated with the option to skip shared disks migration doesn't get the shared disk automatically attached after the migration.

Migrated two VMs with shared disks: the first VM is migrated with a migration plan with the option to migrate shared disks, the second VM is migrated with a second migration plan, this time the option to migrate shared disks is disabled. The shared disk should be automatically attached to the second VM after this is migrated.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      2.11

      How reproducible:

      Always

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Migrate one VM with a shared disk, using a migration plan with the option to migrate shared disks
      2. Migrate the second VM using a migration plan that skips migration of shared disks

      Actual results:

I need to manually attach the shared disk to the second VM

      Expected results:

The shared disk gets automatically attached
