Currently, MTV does not preserve guest IP configuration when migrating VMs from OpenStack to OpenShift. As a result, migrated VMs might require manual network reconfiguration, even when the source VM uses fixed IPs defined in OpenStack.

This RFE proposes adding support for preserving IP configuration from OpenStack during migration, aligning the guest network settings on OpenShift with the source VM configuration where possible.
