VM has 4 or more static IP address assigned to the 1 NIC, during a warm migration only 3 IPs are moved.

1. VMWare VM configre a NIC with 5 static IP address
2. Warm migrate, enabling preserve static IP

After the cutover, the VM will end up with only 3 of the static IP address

Preserve all network settings 

When the network-config.ps1 script is created it adds the gateway to entries from the same network.  This causes failures with only the first run working.
