Hello team,
I have an issue with a warm migration from VMware to OpenShift Virtualization, some info on the envs:
*) VMware vSphere 7
*) OpenShift 4.16.20
*) MTV 2.7.5
I have a static reference to the boot partition in /etc/fstab, referencing "/dev/sda1" for the /boot partition. Once migrated the VM fail to start the kdump service and it goes in emergency mode.
It seems that MTV is not handling the change in /etc/fstab from /dev/sda1 to /dev/vda1 or the UUID of the device during the warm migration.
You can see the status of the VM in the attached screenshot. I'm also attaching a subset of the logs coming from the v2v / vddk pod.
