Due to MTV-1656 we learned the hard way the the ordering of snapshots is relevant i nthe case of CTK/CBT which is used by warm migration.
This also means that if a VM has a pre-existing snapshot, then it's generally considered to be unsafe to migrate such a VM with warm migration.
MTV should not allow to migrate such VMs - and raise a warning.
Solution is to remove any snapshot associated with a VM.
Veam is documenting something similar: https://forums.veeam.com/vmware-vsphere-f24/job-warning-regarding-cbt-t42427.html (see MTV-1656)
