      We were not able to run the customer provided ubuntu 18 image.

      Thus righ tnow we want to focus on having a reproducer with ubuntu 18.

      Current assumption: install ubuntu 18 server with static ip configuratrion during installation, this should then lead to a netplan based network configuration.
