      Netplan is yet another way to configure static networking on Linux.

      It's used by the Ubuntu installer.

      The fix to this bug will enable to preserve static ip configurations if netplan (netplan.io) is used, by using the netplan configuration files in order to generate udev rules for knwn mac-address / ifname tuples.
