Dots "." in virtual machine names will be replaced with dashes "-" in order to comply with naming rules.

In Red Hat Virtualization a name like "server.subdomain.company.local" is valid and used for vms, however this is not supported in OCP-V. MTV states that the name will be automatically changed, however when it is automatically changed, it ends up being "serversubdomaincompanylocal" which is harder to parse.
Is it possible to over-ride the new name through a UI selection, or (better yet) would it be possible to change every "." to "-" so that the delineation between the names is maintained thus resulting inĀ "server-subdomain-company-local" which is both valid and easier to read.
