Based on feedback from the MTA review (Cell I26), the current documentation for Red Hat Developer Lightspeed contains a standalone section for Persistent Volume (PV) requirements that functions primarily as a deployment prerequisite. To improve content flow and reduce redundancy, this information should be merged into the "Prerequisites" section.

      User Needs Addressed

      • Pre-deployment Verification: Users need to verify all explicit prerequisites (OpenShift versions, cluster roles, resource quotas) before starting the resource-intensive installation of the Solution Server.

      • Storage Quantification: Users need to precisely quantify read/write access modes and minimum PV sizes to avoid installation failures.

      Documentation References & Hyperlinks

The following sections of the MTA 8.0: Configuring and Using Red Hat Developer Lightspeed should be updated:

      • Primary Target for Merge: Chapter 2.1. Prerequisites.

      • Source for Consolidation: Chapter 2.2. Persistent volume requirements.

      • External Dependency Reference: Chapter 3.3. Installing the MTA Operator (The MTA Operator is mandatory to enable the Solution Server).

      Proposed Changes

      1. Merge Chapter 2.2 into 2.1: Move the technical specifications for Persistent Volumes (ReadWriteOnce/ReadWriteMany requirements and minimum size) into a bulleted list within the Prerequisites chapter.

      2. Highlight Operator Dependency: Explicitly state in the Prerequisites that the MTA Operator must be installed first to manage the Solution Server lifecycle.

      3. Delete Redundant Chapter: Remove the standalone Chapter 2.2 to streamline the table of contents.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • [ ] Standalone "Persistent volume requirements" section for Lightspeed is removed from the guide.
      • [ ] Storage requirements (PV size and access modes) are clearly listed as a requirement under the "Prerequisites" chapter.
      • [ ] Updated section includes a direct link to the MTA Operator installation instructions.
      • [ ] Links from the MTA User Interface guide regarding storage are cross-checked for consistency.
