Below is from midays and what was filed at: https://github.com/konveyor/editor-extensions/issues/794

      Description

When testing KAI, the first analysis determines whether custom rules are applied in all subsequent analyses. If the first analysis is run with custom rules, those rules are always applied afterwards—even if removed in later analyses. Conversely, if the first analysis is run without custom rules, subsequent analyses will never apply custom rules—even if they are explicitly set.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Create a new profile with custom rules
      2. Start analysis
      3. observe the incedents
      4. remove the custom rules, and analysis again
      5. the incident that is discovered using the rule from the custom rules is still detected

Do the same ther other way around, starting an analyis without custom rules, will cause all the analysis to be without custom rules even if it is set in the profile.

There is a workaround for MTA 8.0.0 of restarting the analysis server.
