Proposed title of this feature request

Modify default retention of thanos-ruler to be same as prometheus user-workload.

What is the nature and description of the request?

Currently, the default retention of thanos-ruler is 24 hours but if user modifies retention for prometheus user-workload, then the retention of thanos-ruler remains same i-e 24 hours which causes issues when end user tries to query application metrics.

Proposed improvement is to set thanos-ruler retention to the same value as UWM retention unless otherwise specified.

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)

To avoid metric querying issues based on different retention set on prometheus and thanos-ruler.

List any affected packages or components.
