Epic Goal

• The main goal is to onboard promu into the openshift github organization and build an up to date promu package in brew.

Why is this important?

• We use promu to build prometheus related binaries in our container builds
• The current package we use for this is outdated (v0.6, v0.15 is the lattest release at the time of writing)
• OCPBUGS-12996 requires an updated promu build to get fixed.

Scenarios

1. I want to build prometheus in a yum based distro and install an up to date promu via the package manager.

Acceptance Criteria

• CI - MUST be running successfully with tests automated
• Release Technical Enablement - Provide necessary release enablement details and documents.
