Since SD has SRE teams around the globe, shifts are handed over from one geo to another every few hours (according to this protocol).

With Hybrid SRE teams, a similar handover of oncall responsibilities to and from SD SRE will occur on a daily basis. The handover process for this needs to be established and agreed on by both parties.
