      We currently deploy prometheus-adapter as the implmentation of metrics.k8s.io. As part of https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OBSDA-242 we want to switch to metrics-server.

      The goal of this spike is to map out what is needed in order to replace prometheus-adapter with metrics-server in our current CMO architecture and evaluate the performance characteristics of this change.
