      Infinispan has introduced a new grid-based filesystem feature in 4.1 Alpha: http://community.jboss.org/wiki/GridFileSystem

      ModeShape's Infinispan connector stores inside the grid any JCR content with any node type and structure, whereas our file system really only exposes the files/directories as standard JCR 'nt:file' and 'nt:folder' nodes. Having a connector that works like the existing file system connector but instead uses the Infinispan GridFilesystem would be very useful indeed.
