Tika name-based content type detection doesn't close input streams

    Details

    • Type: Bug
    • Status: Resolved (View Workflow)
    • Priority: Major
    • Resolution: Done
    • Affects Version/s: 5.4.1.Final
    • Fix Version/s: 5.5
    • Component/s: Storage
    • Labels:
      None

      Description

Detected when using in combination with S3 binary storage: TikaNameOnlyDetector.detect() doesn't close the input stream passed as parameter.
Consequence is that S3 connection pool fills up due to non-released connections.

Content-based MIME type detection doesn't have this issue by the way.
