I would like to have support for other S3 type storage services and appliances,
So I can use different S3 technologies as the back-end.

As of the new JCR in the master version the only S3 binary storage supported is the AWS, by allowing users enter their endpoint other S3 compatible binary storage services can be used local or in the cloud.
