      The ModeShape binary distribution's size is currently at around 300 MB. After looking at its contents, there are a number of items that can be removed in order to reduce its size:

      • the demos/examples folder - this doesn't make sense anymore since ModeShape has dedicated GitHub repositories for examples and quickstarts
      • test JARs
      • test sources
