Improve performance of (WEAK)REFERENCEs

The current implementation of (WEAK)REFERENCES store the back pointers in the Node document. This will not scale as the number of references to a Node increases, say into the thousands. Improve the (WEAK)REFERENCE implementation so that it will scale to very large number of references.
