Importing XML throws VersionException "node is checked in, preventing this action"

    Description

      When trying to import XML content into repository, following exception is thrown: 

      javax.jcr.version.VersionException: '<node-path>' (or its nearest versionable ancestor) is checked in, preventing this action

      This seems same or at least related to MODE-1450. Tested with 3.0.1.Final and 3.1-SNAPSHOT
