The modeshape-web-jcr module, in order to retrieve repository instances, goes "through a lot of trouble" with the "help" of the RepositoryProvider & RepositoryFactory classes.
This process should be simplified, in that it should "just" use the RepositoryFactory interface (probably use an implementation as a servlet init param ?) from the modeshape-jcr-api module.
