There is a database collision on "hibernate_sequence". It was requested (a toss-up and it was decided) that modeshape rename this for uniqueness to resolve the collision. See MODE-1231 for the change made to '2.5.x', but this issue is for changing it on the 'master' branch, which can only be done in 3.0 since it would break backward compatibility.
