It would be useful to be able to migrate my data between storage types within the same cluster, without requiring two clusters.

We suspect a lot of the pieces are probably there for accomplishing this, although this is going to require some investigation to determine how significant of a retrofit this would look like.

Additionally we need to talk about how the UX changes to support this since everything has been crafted from the beginning with two clusters in mind.

Note we will want the ability to migrate PVs to a different storageclass in the same cluster in the same namespace.
