Dear team:

We've the following use case of MTC using DVM:

 - Customer using istio service mesh could not perform storageclass conversion when istio or custom network policies are present on the namespace.

• With this configuration, rsync client fails sending files with the following error:

• rsync: safe_read failed to read 1 bytes [sender]: Connection reset by peer (104)
  rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(276) [sender=3.1.3] 

• As workarround, deletion of all the networkpolicies in this namespace fixes the issue 

What is required?
Allow labeling rsync pods to allow traffic through network policies.
