OADP is working to upgrade the openshift plugin with regard to indirect image migrations to eliminate the usage of the self-hosted registry code and instead moving to library calls to backup to storage location rather than an HTTP server. This would reduce surface area for bugs. Expecting this to get released in OADP 1.1, so we have a dependency upon that, if we choose to implement.
