As of 1.7 the product compatibility guidelines need to be updated:

I have update the compatibility guidelines upstream, so this should be a case of taking the content from upstream and updating the downstream product docs from above. In addition, we'll want to audit any of the remainder of the downstream docs to ensure that they align with compatibility expectations.
