The use-case here is that we need to provide a solution for customers who are trying to migrate off of an airgapped on-prem cluster to a cloud cluster. They have to be able to run their controller on the cloud cluster of an OCP4.x version while still being able to communicate with their on-prem cluster so the controller can speak to its API server to drive a migration.

We've implemented a command in our "crane" tool that establishes a network bridge between the two clusters, documented here: https://crane-docs.konveyor.io/content/usage/tunnel-api/

We need a section in the product documentation that specifies "IF you are someone with an overall network topology that matches what is described above, use the crane tool tunnel-api command to establish a link between the two clusters such that the controller running on your target cluster is able to communicate with your on-prem source cluster".

Please ping rhn-engineering-jmontleo for questions about this.

I would normally assign to apinnick@redhat.com to make her aware, however with her role transitioning over to sgoodman@redhat.com, I've assigned to Steve instead. Please let me know if I should be doing something different here. Thank you!
