The version stream at https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/mk-ci-cd/managed-kafka-versions is used for integration testing between RHOSAK components as well as for promotion between RHOSAK environments.

To onboard to the version stream two steps are required.

1) Updating the commit sha and image tag in https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/mk-ci-cd/managed-kafka-versions/-/blob/integration/services/kas-fleet-manager.yaml in a MR. On creation of the MR an integration testing pipeline will be run against the versions contained in the MR.

2) Updating the release script at https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/mk-ci-cd/managed-kafka-versions/-/blob/integration/ci/release.sh. Currently the data plane addon MRs in managed tenants are created on merge to an environment branch in managed-kafka-versions. A similar approach could be used to manage the release of fleet-manager via app interface.
