KIP-735 proposed extending the default session.timeout.ms to 45 seconds (from the current 10) to increase client stability for Kafka brokers hosted in multi-tenant and cloud environments.

Making session.timeout.ms more than the request timeout should reduce unnecessary consumer group rebalances and would be a good enhancement for Managed Kafka.
