WHAT

Decommissioned services should be removed from the following places within HCC before the May 8 blackout period:

• App & Data Services navigation
• App & Data Services overview page
• App & Data Services learning resources page 
• App & Data Services service accounts page

Note that these updates are minimal updates to navigation and content pages, and should not result in fully removing the UI from HCC. 

HOW

1. Update navigation for HCC to not include the services identified in Changes to Application and Data Services presentation on console.redhat.com. Note that this document includes some items that are outside the scope of this task.
2. Update the Overview page as described in this example
3. Update the Learning Resources page to not include the quick starts section, as shown in this example
4. Update the Service Accounts page with the following content updates:
   1. Current description text: Use service accounts to connect and authenticate your applications with Kafka instances and Service Registry instances.
   2. New description text: Use service accounts to securely and automatically connect and authenticate services or applications without requiring an end user's credentials or direct interaction.

DONE

• Share a link on mas-all with a link to staging that shows these updates are complete
• The updates described above are moved to production by May 8th
• For the services that are removed from the navigation, the UI is still available via a direct URL
