RHOAM Sprint 33
WHAT
The purpose of this spike is to identify a process that existing RHOAM customers can follow to enable custom domains on their environment. Right now custom domains can only be configured automatically on fresh installs.
The process does not need to be automated. A step by step guide for manually configuring the custom domain will suffice.
An existing KCS article exists which may cover most of this process, even though its targeting 3scale on-prem installs: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3498021
HOW
- Provision a new RHOAM environment without custom domains
- Register a new custom domain on the underlying OSD cluster, see https://docs.openshift.com/dedicated/applications/deployments/osd-config-custom-domains-applications.html
- Configure RHOAM environment to use the registered custom domain
- Ensure knowledge articles are updated
DONE
- A document has been produced which outlines a step by step guide for how existing RHOAM customers can configure their environment with a custom domain
