WHAT
Go lang 1.18 was released on 15.03.2022,
Some cool new features include:
Generics - https://go.dev/doc/tutorial/generics
Fuzzing - https://go.dev/doc/tutorial/fuzz
Although not required, it would be nice to take advantage of fuzzing in our unit tests and start taking using the generics.

When bumping integreatly operator go version, we would also need to update:

• ci/cd
• openshift releases repo
• possibly other repos
