To keep our developer expectations more standardized, we should have an established pattern for where regression tests should live. Currently, team MCO has serial, parallel, and distributive tests defined across both o/orign and o/machine-config-operator. This can make it confusing where new tests should be implemented and make it difficult for external teams to search for potentially interfering tests from our team.

We should define a team standard on where tests should live and then update our current test landscape accordingly.

Done when:

• There is an established pattern to determine which repo tests should be implemented in
• Relevant stories and bugs are created to track the efforts for moving any tests as a result of this investigation
