• Provide a new output option to forward logs to a third party system that supports receiving requests via HTTP.

Non-Goals

Motivation

There are other systems that would perfectly be fine to accept HTTP requests without us adding explicit support for that system into our Log Forwarding API. That would save us introducing new plugins into a collector and it perfectly fit into our general strategy to stay, where we can, at the protocol level for forwarding logs to other systems.
