• Publish Engineering Candidate for the Semantic Conventions
• Modify LokiStack's "default" ingestion model to be OTeL
• Modify visualization and queries to rely upon OTeL attributes

Motivation

• Tech Preview offering has been available for several releases and customer's are unwilling to embrace feature unless it is GA
• Solidify the semantic conventions that customers can expec

Alternatives

Acceptance Criteria

• Verify the release notes include a deprecation notice for using ViaQ as a data model when forwarding to LokiStack
• Verify the "default" datamodel is OTeL when forwarding to LokiStack
• Verify visualization uses OTeL sourced stream labels for queries
