      Description of problem:

I have created logbased alert to test the functionality as per the KCS https://access.redhat.com/articles/7105362 but after doing all the steps correctly , neither do i see the alerting rule in alerting rule on the console nor does the firing alert get displayed in Alert section

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

      How reproducible:

      Steps to Reproduce:

      1. Install logging version 6.1 on any compatible version
      2. Follow KCS https://access.redhat.com/articles/7105362 and creating an alerting rule as per the KCS
      3. Wait until the step is done
      4. Once everything is settled downgrade the loki and logging version to 6.0
      5. Once the stack is stablized on version 6.0 , the alerting rule and alert should be visible

      Actual results:

Alerting rule and Alert not visible

      Expected results:

Alerting rule and Alert should be visible

      Additional info:

Alerting firing can be checked using

      oc exec -n openshift-user-workload-monitoring alertmanager-user-workload-0 – amtool alert --alertmanager.url http://localhost:9093
