Context

As we evolve the multi-cluster use-case we need introduce validation that will help users better configure their LokiStack instances to support the logging requirements of a multi-cluster set up. The LokiStack T-Shirt sizes were not designed to handle the logging requirements of multiple clusters however LokiStack provides some configurations under limits that can (possibly) be used to make some of the T-Shirt sizes accommodate the multi-cluster use-case. In this issue we want to extend our benchmark tooling to help us devise test cases that will help us better understand where are the LokiStack limitations when dealing with multiple clusters.

Goal

Provide benchmark results that be the foundations for the LokiStack validation on the multi-cluster use-case enforced by MCOA.

• Current logging requirements for a multi-cluster setup.
• Benchmarking test plan
• Benchmarking results evaluating different sizes for the multi-cluster setup
