      Background

In https://github.com/grafana/loki/pull/11968 we have added support for LokiStack to accurately report when pods are in a Running VS Ready state. With this new feature, we can now create an AlertingRule that will alert users when their LokiStack instance is not Ready. This will help users in scenarios like https://issues.redhat.com/browse/LOG-5405.

      Steps

      • Implement an AlertingRule that will alert users when a pod in a LokiStack installation is not Ready.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Alert if fired when a pod belonging to a LokiStack instance is not in Ready phase.
