    • Before this update, Loki Operator configures Loki to use path-based style access for AWS S3, which has been deprecated. After this update, it uses virtual-host style by default without the users needing any change in their configuration.

Currently Loki Operator configures Loki to use path-based style access for S3 (see here). The AWS documentation states that the path-based access is deprecated and can be removed in the future (it has been deprecated since 2020).

We should be able to rewrite our configuration generator, so that it uses virtual-host style by default without the users needing any change in their configuration (at least for S3 on AWS).
