Summary

Issue LOG-1923 introduced changes related to certificate handling in the Cluster Logging Operator (CLO) to allow certificates for the collector to be provided by the Elasticsearch Operator (EO). However, the current requirements and system state indicate that these changes are no longer necessary.

This issue aims to perform a code cleanup to remove the certificate handling modifications made in response to LOG-1923.

Acceptance Criteria

• Verify deployment of greenfield CL with managed storage
• Verify upgrades of existing CL with managed storage
• Verify visualization of logs via Kibana
