VSCode - BPMN modeler enhanced data assignments

Currently, users have to define process variables, setting the domain model and also typing this same model over and over again on each data assignment for input and/or output.
Would be extremely helpful to users to have the data types "remembered" for when adding a new data assignment. Even more helpful would be to set the type and the target name based on the process variable that was select as target or source.
For example, if the process has a variable with name trip of type org.acme.travel.Trip, when I go to the data assignments if I select trip as target or source, the editor should automatically set the type as org.acme.travel.Trip, as pre-set the name as trip.
