SWF supports defining metadata in state's.

Parados's existing solution supports the display of Markdown content for individual workflow nodes. The metadata can include informative text advising to the User what the state represents or actions that may be required to complete the state (specifically when the state represents a type of "Human Task" interaction).

It might be useful to set some "well defined" constants in the state.metadata that KubeSmarts can use to provide hover-over tooltips/popovers to render certain metadata to Users. metadata entry "icon" seems to be defined to store icon information. This JIRA builds on that.

"Error state" is probably different as it is not stored in the SWF state.metadata but in ProcessInstance.error.
