Each card on the sample catalog should have an Action button/link (inline or not) to express the idea of using that sample. Clicking on the card shouldn't create/save that model but to open a modal (or better a sidemenu on the right) with the information about the sample (author, tags, etc).
Everything elso on the card that might be clickable should execute different actions:

• If you click on the image, the image should enlarge.
• If you click on the tag, if should filter the sample catalog using that tag.
