In order to let a user of the Kogito Serverless Operator being able to customize the Kubernetes Service automatically created, we would like to have a Traits API with a Service Trait that will be used by the operator to create a service with the configuration provided by the user trough the ServiceTrait.

We can use as an example what is doing Apche Camel K with Traits and to the ServiceTrait.

Traits will be provided to the Kogito Serverless Operator into the Platform CRD in a similar way Camel K is doing here.
