The BPMN-MIWG offers various BPMN models that are used by vendors to test interoperability of their tools. When parsing of these BPMN files with RH-PAM tooling (ie: kie maven plugin ) many errors are thrown. RH-PAM tooling should be improved such that the following occurs when parsing and rendering this BPMN-MIWG BPMN:
1) All NullPointerExceptions (currently thrown by the tooling ) are eliminated.
2) When problems in the BPMN are detected, the tooling needs to clearly articulate the context of where in the BPMN the problem originates from. ie: if a problem involves a missing required field in a specific user task, then the output should clearly indicate that the problem resides in that specific user task. The error message should also include a link to either the section in the RH-PAM documentation or the section in the BPMN2 specification that details exactly what is required of an RH-PAM compliant BPMN.
3) If/when the RH-PAM tooling detects BPMN functionality that is not supported by RH-PAM, the error message should link to the section in the RH-PAM documentation that details what is and is not supported by RH-PAM.
