in KOGITO-5456 we are fixing Gradle support in our codegen backend for Quarkus. The goal of this task is to further refactor (if necessary) the codegen so that a thin wrapper for Gradle for Spring users can be provided – just like we provide a Maven plugin as a thin wrapper around the codegen.

This is low-priority and demand-driven.
